An anchor to the upcoming exhibit “ 50 Yearsof Photography “, is the modern Pop Art photographic Strawberry Heart.

In an effort to promote love and acceptance in an extremely tense social environment, Keith has integrated many philosophical and iconic concepts into one image that symbolizes a movement reminiscent of the late 1960’s. 

The motivation for this image was based on the present state of the world, and the original photo of a strawberry. This strawberry was deformed and different, but also in the shape of a heart.

“ Like a strawberry which has its seeds on the outside, we are equally exposed, and more vulnerable than we are willing to admit. We are all unique, all fruits of humanity. I have colorized the image in a Pop Art style in order to bring the breadth of colors of all of our humanity into the image, and emphasize the beauty both inside and outside of all of us”.

This image is 38in. X 38 in. on high gloss paper and has a very wet, Pop Art look. It is dripping with color.
